Good for quick signing

Needed to sign a lease fast. Used DocuSign eSignature, it was easy. Got the document back to the landlord in minutes. Worked perfectly, no issues at all.

Decent service, some setup issues

I signed up for the DocuSign Business Pro plan last month. The ordering process was straightforward online, and I opted for the annual billing to get the discount. Delivery, well, it's a software service, so it was instant. I found the initial setup for Workflow Automation a bit clunky; it took a few tries to get everything mapped correctly. Their support was helpful though when I called in. The quality of the Electronic Signature feature is solid, and I appreciate the Mobile App Signature option. It integrates okay with our existing systems, but the documentation for API Integration could be clearer. Overall, it's a powerful tool, just brace for a bit of a learning curve initially.

What happens if I go over my envelope limit on a DocuSign plan? Do they just charge extra per envelope or do I have to upgrade immediately?

D Dana Carter 1 month ago
They usually have a pretty clear policy on that. From what I remember, they'll usually let you know you're getting close and then either charge per extra envelope or prompt you to upgrade. Not like they just cut you off.

i think they charge you for the extra ones. not sure on the rate but it's probably more expensive than just getting a higher tier plan if you hit it often.

trying to decide between DocuSign and Adobe Sign. Is one significantly better for just basic e-signatures or are they pretty much the same?

J Josh Walsh 2 months ago
For basic e-signatures, they're both solid. I used Adobe for a while and switched to DocuSign because the interface felt a bit more intuitive for me, but that's just personal preference.

I've heard good things about both, but DocuSign definitely feels like the industry standard. Most people I deal with use it, which makes things smoother.

Are promo codes even a thing for DocuSign? Been looking around but can't find any. Is it just the free trial they offer?

W Wendy Romero 2 months ago
Promo codes are super rare, honestly. Mostly it's just the free trial. I've only ever seen them for super specific plans or events, not just general codes.

yeah, don't waste your time looking. free trial is their main thing. you apply a code at checkout if you ever find one, but good luck.

My contract is coming up for renewal, do they offer any discounts for existing users to stay on? Or is it just the standard price?

N Noor Whitfield 3 months ago
They sometimes do offer renewal discounts, especially if you're on an annual plan. Might be worth reaching out to their sales team before it auto-renews to see if they'll cut you a deal.

Yeah, I got a renewal discount last year. Not huge, but enough to make me stick with them. Always ask!

Thinking of getting DocuSign for my small business, but wondering if it's worth the annual plan upfront. Like, how much do you actually save compared to just paying monthly?

G Gwen Q. 2 months ago
Yeah, totally worth it. I went annual last year and I think it was like 20% off what I'd pay monthly. They definitely push you to do that for a reason.

It's a pretty good chunk, like 10-30% usually. I've always gone annual 'cause I know I'll use it all year, so why not save some cash?
